Amanda Lucas and Audrey Cecil are singer/songwriters. They play guitars – really play them. They play other things too. They harmonize to the moon. They laugh. They work hard. They love it. You can tell because, when you watch them, they make you love it too. You’ll find your foot tapping before you realize it. You’ll find yourself lost in lyrics before you know what they mean.

Amanda and Audrey were childhood friends who, like so many childhood friends, had fallen out of touch. After a decade apart, music brought the two friends back together, and they could not pass up on the musical chemistry they found.

First taking time to write and arrange after joining forces, AL/AC dove right in, gained a fan base, and now play over 150 shows per year (some in the country’s most popular original music venues). With their catchy tunes, heartfelt lyrics, and tight harmonies, AL/AC gained quite a following in the South and Midwest, and are gaining more momentum and popularity with each show they play.

AL/AC has shared the stage with the likes of Garrison Starr, Girlyman, Nervous But Excited, Company of Thieves, Trina Hamlin, Eric Himan, Nini Camps, Ben Sollee, Tracy Rice, Brooks Ritter, and many more talented musicians.

In May 2010, AL/AC placed first in ourstage.com’s Lilith Local Talent Search: Indianapolis online competition.
